Nearly 30 sessions and counting – our Energy Helpdesk is here for you.

Our dedicated Energy Group volunteers run a monthly Energy Helpdesk, alternating between the Repair Café and the Hive Community Centre. Check our Calendar of Events for dates and venues.

What can we help you with?

At the Helpdesk, you can:

  • Get practical advice on making your home more energy efficient – from insulation options to tackling cold spots, damp, and condensation
  • Understand your energy bills and check whether you’re on the best tariff
  • Explore grants for insulation, new gas boilers, or solar panels (where available)
