Hosted by Climate Action Silsden, this de-cluttering, waste-reducing, bargain-hunting event is coming to Silsden this September.
How Does it Work?
Think car boot sale, except you don’t need to load your car and drive to a field at 6am. Participants sell from outside their own home, and buyers follow a trail to find the stalls. It’s the perfect opportunity for a post-summer clear-out. You can pass your pre-loved items on to a new home, save good stuff from landfill, meet your neighbours and make some money at the same time. Books, clothes, houseplants, toys, homewares, garden tools – it may be gathering dust in your house but it may be just what someone else is looking for.
How to Take Part
- Sign up via our form to register your address. The deadline is August 24 and there is a fee of £5.
- Set up a table (or several) outside your house on Sunday September 13 to display your goods.
- Price your items, welcome visitors and pocket the proceeds!
What We’ll Do
- We’ll produce a digital and paper map showing all the Jumble Trail stall addresses so that buyers know where to go.
- We’ll publicise the event far and wide.
- We’ll keep our fingers crossed for a sunny day!
