The aims of the Energy group are to inform and support Silsden residents in reducing their carbon emissions from their homes, simultaneously reducing their energy costs.
We do this by:
- Helping residents to identify areas of heat loss in their homes and providing information about ways to reduce this.
- Providing information about new technology which enables homeowners to reduce carbon emissions in well-insulated homes.
- Helping those in fuel poverty to reduce their energy costs.
- Informing residents about the grants that are available to support improvements to home energy efficiency and the installation of new technology.
